The Winslow House hosted it’s annual “Teddy Bear Picnic”, which allows children (and their parents and grandparents) to build their own Teddy Bear and take it home!  Children got to do crafts, decorate shirts and name their bears. They were given snacks and were able to take their bears out on a parade before going home. This event was led by Plymouth schoolteachers Susan Page and Doreen Schmidt, and was ably assisted by the Cakounes family and Michael Schmidt. The Winslow House’s most popular children’s event, it drew over 100 children!

This program was made possible by generous donations by Eastern Bank, Garelick Farms dairy, Friendly’s Ice Cream, and Stop & Shop supermarkets. The Winslow House wants to thank them for their participation and sponsorship.
