The Historic Winslow House Announces 2011 Bookstock Festival

Marshfield, Ma. – The Historic 1699 Winslow House and Cultural Center is proud to announce plans to hold its inaugural Bookstock literary festival on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

Bookstock will showcase writers from all genres including non-fiction, fiction and children’s books on the grounds of the historic estate.  Admission to the Book Fair is free! Author “Meet and Greet” is from noon until 4:30 pm.

The day long festival will culminate in the presentation of the 2011 Isaac Winslow Literary Prize to national bestselling author Andre Dubus III for his collection of works which include the acclaimed novel House of Sand and Fog (a 2000 Oprah Book Club selection) and his most recent book, Townie: A Memoir, a New York Times bestseller.
