Fun With Fossils – Dinosaur Day at the Winslow House
Prehistoric relics which predate our 1699 House were the stars of the day on August 9, 2012. The event brought Paulette Morin, M.Ed., President of Fun with Science Programs and an amateur paleontologist to the House to share songs, dinosaur-sized storybooks and facts with participating families. The highlight of the day was of course when kids of all ages were allowed to examine Ms. Morin’s extensive fossil collection.
This program was supported in part by a grant from the Marshfield Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
We thank them for their generosity for supporting in part this program!
Tavern Wench Night
July featured Tavern Wench Night – a Ladies Night out at the Winslow House featuring a desert bar and drinks. Ladies were served by the Board’s own wench “Timothina”. Donations were provided by The Adorable Cupcake and Bill Bailey of The Bailey.

Family Film Night
This season the Winslow House tried something new with the introduction of Family Film Night. Lawn goers enjoyed a night at the museum and braved the arrival of mosquitos later on. We greatly appreciate Bob and Sue Stabnish for their contributions of equipment for the night.
