About the event
A virtual paddle up the Green Harbor River with a history narrative, presented by Dan McDonald with the Green Harbor River Rowing Club.
Join Dan as he takes us upstream on this pristine river. When the Dyke was built in 1873, the Green Harbor River basin was changed forever. See the former locations of Blackmans Lumber Yard and Daniel Webster's launch.  Hear about the Cut River - the first hand dug canal in our nation, and the connection between the railroad and the building of the dyke.
A lovely way to spend a morning ! Â Click here to visit the Green Harbor River Rowing Club website.
