80th Anniversary of the Normandy Invasion "D-Day"

June 6, 2024, is the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Invasion—Operation Overlord, more commonly known as “D-Day”. But to keep such a massive undertaking a secret was an incredible feat unto itself.  Mark Schmidt, Executive Director for the Mayflower Society and former director for the Museum of World War II, will discuss the magnitude of the deception, the politics that accompanied its implementation, and the extent of its success.
