About the event
The theme for this open house is ICE CREAM SOCIAL! Â Come enjoy a cone of homemade ice cream donated by B's in Marshfield. Â We will have two of their best-selling flavors to choose from. Â
Here's the twist...we will also offer a sampling of an 18th century savory oyster ice cream - yes you read that right. Â Thanks to Island Creek Oyster in Duxbury for donating the oysters. Â
This dish was served by Dolly Madison and we believe it was more like a cold savory oyster chowder. Â Expand your culinary palate and tell us what you think!
