About the event

Cindy Castro will share her knowledge on the history of Brant Rock, from the days when it was called, "Branch's Island" until the locals referred to the large rock as the Brant Rock because of the Brant Geese that rested upon it.  She will address the building of the esplanade, but more importantly, the people who came as tourists and would promenade the esplanade in all their finery.  Her topics will include Estes Candy Kitchen, the bowling alley-movie theater building and other family-owned businesses.  Use your muscle memory and join us for this engaging topic.
