About the event
A ranger from the National Park Service will enlighten us to the logistics of this important Revolutionary War battle. Â In 1775, the new Commander in Chief of the Continental Army, Gen. George Washington reviewed the defenses surrounding Boston, built by the militia units of New England. Â Gen. Washington was impressed with both the works and knowledge of his guide, Henry Knox. Â This program will explore the siege lines of Boston and the role of Henry Knox in fortifying these lines. Â To visit the National Park Service Bunker Hill site click here.
