About the event
For many years, a shipwreck at Damon's Point remained unidentified, occasionally reappearing after powerful storms and wave action, only to disappear again. Then the No Name Gale of October 30, 1991 again exposed the wreck. Local maritime archaeologist and historian Paul F. McCarthy will discuss his four-year investigation to identify this vessel and her past.
